I know it's been a while since I posted anything, but I think I should mention that I'm in the middle of making an actual design for the Pyrant Line. They are going to be a combination of ants and flamethrowers with a flammable liquid stored in their hind area and then spit from their mouths. I'll be posting up the art sometime later today. Edit: As promised, here's the redesign with a front view of the head and two different side views. Which of the side views do you prefer? (the antenna aren't shown on the side views because it kept getting in the way of the legs) Edit Again: Now I bring you the basis for the first evolution. To launch its fire at full speed it needs a straight path for the liquid to travel, so they grasp the ground with their enlarged front legs (which are identical to all of the top forms legs) and pivot around them (like a mounted gun). I have yet to come up with a look for their eyes or antenna, hence why they don't have any. Finally there is the basis for the top form. At this point its central body has now become the neck (that line going down the center of the neck is just me playing around with possible patters) while the hind quarters are now the main body basically making it a spider tank. Although not shown here they will have flame shaped antenna. The reason the left cuts off like that is because there is nothing beyond that. The sketchbook I drew this in was rather small and I didn't start off the sketch in the best of places.

I like them, and the first side view's the best.

Ok then I'll have to add that to the other two.

i agree with dtrain, and i think the second stage's antennas might look cool as secondary flamethrowers. they could look like the first stages but more cone shaped towards the tip, with openings as well for the fire to escape through

I can imagine that on there, and I have to say, that's an amazing idea.

I just had a thought for the lines signature move: Spitfire. It would have high accuracy, low damage and it's base power would multiply by 1.5 if the target was is burned.
