We still need a design for him...the Fire/Ground evolved form of Fircoal. Genghoul said that he has a Blastoise-esque design for him. I don't really have much of a design either, but if it helps, I'm imagining a cross of Rypherior and Blastoise.

Yeah, I have two rough sketches done; one bipedal and one on all fours. It has a spotlight coming from either the center of the shell (similarly to fircoal, but terascorch has a rounded shell) or at the tip of the tail (which i'm leaning towards). Same general coloration, slightly darker skin tone. I'll probably end up choosing the bipedal model. I'll post the finalized sketch soon.

Sounds great, but I think the light should be on the forehead.

What do you mean by that?

I think it should be sort of like a mole crossed with a coal miner and a coal fire, where it eats through the ground searching for coal to eat. It could have a flame to be the flashlight on inside it's head. Also the top of it's head would be shaped like this:

Sounds pretty good as long as it's bipedal.

here's a possible design I drew The red parts are where the fire is released.

He doesn't really resemble Fircoal at all though.

Well, I hate to say this, Fircoal never really looked like a pokemon to begin with. So here's a redesign for Fircoal as well . However, I'm not without compromise. If you don't like this design, I can always try to make something based off of a Salamander

Still not a fan. I think Fircoal should stay the way he is personally. I like him that way as more of a personal reason, so please, no re-design. Just some matter with my friend.

I also like Fircoal the way it is, although I can edit the sprite to make it more Pokemon-ish.

How about this as an edit to the design? I made it more like a salamander, but kept all the same features that the original design had (except for the ears). Note: the only reason the tail is curled up like that in the drawing is to save on space.

Thanks. I also took the other design that I made to form the evolution's head

I love it! Very nice design, so we're compromised there.

First sprite in a very long while.

The spot on the forehead is angled kind of weird and the orange lines are in the wrong spot, but other than that it looks great.

I put the orange lines there because the sides looked kind of empty other wise, and I think it looked a little cluttered on the front with the light there. I can change it though if you like it the other way better.

It's fine either way for me. We should just see what everyone else thinks.

That's a nice sprite, and I like the orange openings on the side. Looks like a furnace, which is awesome. I think you did a great job on the sprite.
